Counseling

Counseling focuses on practical, present-day support – helping you navigate stress, build healthier habits, and strengthen your overall sense of wellbeing.

This work often includes mindfulness, stress reduction techniques, boundary-setting, and skill-building for everyday life. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop realistic, sustainable strategies to support change.

Counseling is a good fit if you’re looking for guidance, structure, and tools to feel more grounded, focused, and capable in your daily life – without necessarily diving into deeper therapeutic processing.

Therapy

Therapy offers a deeper, more exploratory space to understand long-standing patterns, process past experiences, and support emotional healing.

This work is trauma-informed and may draw from a range of approaches, including mindfulness-based therapies, cognitive frameworks, and other integrative methods. Rather than following a single modality, therapy is tailored to you – using the approach that best fits your needs and readiness. The pace is thoughtful and collaborative, with care taken to balance growth and emotional safety.

Modalities Include:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Compassionate Communication

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Jungian

  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MCBT)

Medication Consultation

Medication consultation is offered as part of an integrated approach to mental health care.

Consultations include a comprehensive evaluation, discussion of options, and ongoing monitoring when medication is part of your treatment plan. The goal is to make informed, collaborative decisions that align with your values, symptoms, and overall wellbeing.

Medication is never treated as a quick fix, but as one potential tool among many – used thoughtfully and in combination with other forms of support when appropriate.
